Baby White Tiger
A baby white tiger may be bred on an exotic animal farm; its photos are usually offered.
There are many animals with such coloring in captivity, but almost all of them are descendants of a wild animal named Mohad that was captured in the 1950s. Since that time no animal with such coat was registered in the wild. The importance of breeding these animals is under constant discussion, as many specialists believe that breeding these vulnerable animals is scientifically pointless. Besides, it’s in a way detrimental to the conservation programs for normal animals in the wild.

Baby White Tiger -
farm, photos
Such color variety is very rare in the wild; only one out of 10,000 animals is not orange. Such animals range from absolutely blonde color to stripped coats with either chocolate or black stripes. The eyes of such animals are usually blue, but can be amber and green. Animals with a rare color have all the adaptations their orange relatives have. They possess a strong sense of smell and hearing; their eyesight is sharp; they are good swimmers, but poor climbers. They are larger than orange species and look very massive. Their color singles them out in the wild and makes them more conspicuous. Therefore, they are ill-suited for life in the wild, because they can’t hunt effectively.
