White Tiger Photo
A white tiger photo can sometimes be found on conservation farms that rescue big cat babies.
Such rare specimen of only Bengal tigers is very expensive and $60,000 is not an unusual price for such animals. Several zoos produce such animals with the help of inbreeding. Breeding close relatives causes several breeding depressions. It’s quite possible that there are no animals with such a coat color in the wild. They are seen only in zoos today. The common life span of these animals in captivity is over 20 years, but in the wild they live 10-15 years.

This color variety is sometimes called chinchilla albinistic. This color variety has no specific scientific name and is called Panthera Tigris, like its orange relatives. These animals are not albinos, as they have blue eyes, and cream-colored coat with chocolate stripes, while albinism means total absence of melanin in the body. Such animals grow heavier than their orange counterparts, so they are very impressive. Males range in length between 8.8 and 10.2 feet. Their weigh is between 419 and 569 pounds. Females are smaller, and range in length from 7.11 to 8.7 feet, weighing around 350 pounds. The tail of these animals reaches the length of 4 feet.
